Have you tried the strawberry one? I bought it this week and it was disgusting. If you’ve tried it, are the other flavours better by comparison?

I’ve never seen it in real life! The main reason I buy this stuff so often is because they have it at the “regular” supermarket chain five minutes from my house — if I had to make a trip to the local Whole Foods to get it I wouldn’t bother.

The only flavors I have ever seen at my store are coffee, cookies and cream, and mint chocolate cookie. Coffee definitely has a weird aftertaste, but the other two are pretty inoffensively chocolate and chocolate-mint, respectively. I’m also fairly certain I’m one of maybe five people buying it there, because I always see the same freezer-burned pints sitting there until I end up being a sucker and buying them.

So yeah, the chocolate ones are good, though the texture is icy like cheap sorbet…. BUT, I have a problem with wanting to eat my feelings, so this is kind of a safe placebo for me. Usually once I get halfway through the pint I’m over it, and it’s only about 75 calories later.

I keep waiting for some horrible expose that will show that Arctic Zero will cause me to grow a cancerous second head or something, just to ruin my joy over this stuff.

This blog is about healthy food, fitness, body image, self care, recovery, weightlifting, and all that kind of stuff.

After years of obsessive calorie-counting, bad habits, and worse self-image, I'm choosing to get better... So bear with me as I retool this blog a bit.
